List of Bank Holiday In November 2024: All Details Here

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a list of holidays for the month of November. There are about 12 holidays, in which banks will remain closed in November. The holiday includes regional festivals, events, and other observances, which may vary location-wise. It should be noted the list also comprises all Sundays as well as the second and fourth Saturdays.

List of bank holidays

November 1 (Friday): On the observance of Deepavali, Kut, and Kannada Rajyotsava, banks will remain closed in states including Tripura, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Manipur.

November 2 ( Saturday): Banks in states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and other states will remain closed due to Diwali, Laxmi Puja, and Govardhan Pooja.

November 3 ( Sunday): Banks across India including the union territories will remain closed on Sunday.

November 7 ( Thursday): On the observance of Chhath/Wangala, banks will remain closed in a few states like Bihar, Jharkhand, and Meghalaya.

November 9 ( Saturday): Second Saturday

November 10 ( Sunday): Sunday

November 15 ( Friday): Banks in regions including Mizoram, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Hyderabad—Telangana, Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Bengal, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Srinagar will remain closed on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthika Purnima/Rahas Purnima.

November 17 ( Sunday): Sunday

November 18 ( Monday): On the observance of Kanakadasa Jayanti, banks will remain closed across Karnataka.

November 23 ( Saturday): Banks will remain closed in Meghalaya on account of Seng Kutsnem. Notably, November 23 happens to be a fourth Saturday.

November 24 ( Sunday): Sunday
