In response to the rising travel demand during Maha Kumbh 2025, Akasa Air has announced additional daily flights connecting Prayagraj with Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru. These flights, operational until February 28, will complement the airline's existing daily services from Delhi and Mumbai, enhancing connectivity to the spiritual hub.

From January 27 to February 28, the airline will operate these special flights through Delhi, while direct flights from Ahmedabad and Bengaluru to Prayagraj will run from January 28 to February 26, providing passengers with convenient travel options during this significant spiritual event.

Akasa Air, which commenced operations in Prayagraj in May 2024, is committed to supporting pilgrims traveling for Maha Kumbh. Praveen Iyer, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Akasa Air, stated, "The Mahakumbh is one of the largest spiritual gatherings globally, and we are delighted to facilitate the movement of millions of devotees with reliable and affordable travel options. This event not only fosters spiritual unity but also boosts the local economy in Prayagraj."
