Air India Suspends Tel Aviv Flights Until August 8

Amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East, Air India has announced the suspension of its flights to and from Tel Aviv.
According to a statement from Air India, the suspension will take effect immediately and is expected to last until August 8, 2024.
Air India usually operates four flights each week between Delhi and Tel Aviv. However, on August 1, the airline canceled flights AI139 from Delhi to Tel Aviv and AI140 from Tel Aviv to Delhi due to operational issues. The airline also confirmed the suspension on X (formerly Twitter).
“In view of the ongoing situation in parts of the Middle East, we have suspended the scheduled operation of our flights to and from Tel Aviv with immediate effect up to and including August 8, 2024. We are continuously monitoring the situation and are providing support to our passengers with confirmed bookings for travel to and from Tel Aviv during this period, including a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation charges. The safety of our guests and crew remains our foremost priority.
