Hyderabad: City-based Pure EV, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer said it aims to add 250 new franchise-based dealership outlets across India, taking its total network count to 320, over the next 30 months. The expansion is in line with the growing demand for long-range e-scooters, electric motorcycles, and B2B contracts. The company also announced its plan to launch PurePower, an energy storage solution, in CY 2025, built using their battery powertrain platform.

Pure EV currently has 11 franchise dealers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, this will grow to 50 exclusive dealer outlets over the next 30 months. From 2019, the company has sold more than 75,000 e-scooters and e-motorcycles, and aims to hit annual sales of one lakh yearly.

The electric vehicle manufacturer had launched two models - the ecoDryft, for the 110cc market, and eTryst, designed for the 125cc segment. Moreover, it also integrated Nano PCM (Phase Change Material) into its battery systems for thermal management.

“Our adoption of Nano PCM has not only enhanced the safety profile of our EVs but also significantly improved battery performance, resulting in 20,000 customers across India crossing 40,000 km each and still going,” said Dr Nishanth Dongari, Founder and MD of Pure EV.

On the expansion plans, Dr Dongari said that by strengthening its presence in the market the company is positioning itself to lead the transformation of India’s electric mobility landscape.

Highlighting the role of B2B contracts in the company’s growth strategy, the Founder said that Pure EV recently supplied over 300 e-motorcycles to the Tamil Nadu Forest Department and Tata Power in Odisha, and further plans to expand its B2B vertical.

In addition, the company also plans to introduce generative AI-powered customer support services for personalised communication in regional languages.
