Ultraviolette Shockwave Sees High Demand, Special Pricing Continues
Ultraviolette Shockwave secures 1,000 bookings in 24 hours, leading to an extension of its introductory price for another 1,000 buyers.

The Ultraviolette Shockwave, India’s first e-enduro motorcycle, recorded 1,000 bookings within a day of pre-orders opening at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The overwhelming response led the company to extend the introductory price offer to another 1,000 buyers.
The Shockwave was launched alongside the Tesseract electric scooter. The Tesseract, priced at Rs 1.20 lakh, and the Shockwave, starting at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), were initially offered at these rates for the first 1,000 customers. With bookings surpassing expectations, the introductory pricing now applies to an additional 1,000 customers. Once the limit is reached, the Shockwave’s price will rise by Rs 25,000.
The motorcycle’s strong demand is attributed to its performance figures and features. It generates 505 Nm of torque at the rear wheel and delivers 14.5 bhp of peak power. The bike is equipped with a 37 mm cartridge-type front suspension with 200 mm travel and a rear suspension with 180 mm travel.
The Shockwave rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheel, fitted with 110/90 R17 tyres. Braking is handled by a 270 mm front disc with a dual-piston caliper and a 220 mm rear disc with a floating single-piston caliper. The motorcycle features full LED lighting, including dual projector headlamps.
Connectivity options include LTE with an integrated eSIM and Bluetooth pairing. It offers four traction control levels and six regenerative braking settings. A single-speed reduction transmission and switchable ABS enhance its capabilities.
Accelerating from 0 to 60 kmph in 2.9 seconds, the Shockwave has a top speed of 120 kmph. Its 4 kWh battery provides a claimed IDC-tested range of 165 km.
