Bajaj Chetak 35 Series Launched at Rs 1.20 Lakh

Bajaj Auto launched the all-new Chetak 35 series in India. The newly launched models include three variants namely 3501, 3502 and 3503.

Featuring new frame, battery, motor and controller, the new model resembles the old Bajaj Chetak. While encompassing slimmer LED tail light along with a 80mm longer seat, the top spec Chetak (Chetak 3501) includes a new TFT touchscreen, music control, integrated maps, geo fencing among many.

Powered by a 3.5kW battery, it offers a range of 153 Km on a full charge. It can be charged from 0-80% within three hours by using a 950W charger. In addition to this, it encompasses a 4kW permanent magnet motor, thereby promoting the scooter to reach a top speed of 73 Kmph.

On the other hand, mid-spec scooter, Chetak 3502 includes a 5-inch, non-touchscreen TFT display, off-board charger among many. Chetak 3503 is the base variant, which gets drum brakes at both ends.

The top-spec Chetak 3501 is priced at ₹1.27 lakh, while 3502 costs ₹1.20 lakh respectively. The price of the 3503 will be announced later.
