Volkswagen Auto India has launched the 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, a sportier variant of the regular Tiguan, priced at ₹48.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Available via CBU (Completely Built-Up Unit), the Tiguan R-Line competes with the Skoda Kodiaq, Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Meridian, Toyota Fortuner, and MG Gloster.
The new Tiguan R-Line, based on the MQB ‘Evo’ platform, measures 4539mm in length, 1639mm in height, and 1842mm in width, with a 2680mm wheelbase. It boasts a low drag coefficient of 0.28 Cd. Meanwhile, the Skoda Kodiaq, growing by 61mm to 4759mm in length, offers a drag coefficient of 0.282 Cd.
The Tiguan R-Line’s interior includes a 15.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, massaging ventilated front seats, multi-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.
