Hero MotoCorp Witnessed Mass Exit Of Half Of Dozen Senior Executive

India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer is currently experiencing a wave of resignations among its senior executives amid the mounting challenges. Reports indicate that nearly half a dozen top leaders have resigned in recent days, with more exits likely in the coming weeks.
Among those who have reportedly stepped down are Reema Jain, Chief Information and Digital Officer; Sameer Pander, HR Head for Talent Management; Swadesh Srivastava, Chief Business Officer of Emerging Mobility and Chair of the Innovation Council; Dharm Rakshit, Head of HR and Culture Change; and Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan, Head of Business Emerging Mobility/Vida.
Hero MotoCorp has been dealing with significant hurdles, including a decline in market share and stiffer competition. Just last month, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India replaced Hero as the country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, marking a significant turning point for the industry.
Adding to its woes, Hero MotoCorp sold fewer two-wheelers—encompassing exports and electric vehicles—than TVS Motor Company for the first time, forcing it down to third place in total sales volume. Overall, Hero’s dispatches to dealers in February were down by 17% compared to the same period last year, intensifying its difficulties.
However, as of now, the company has not released any official statement regarding these resignations, so it may be wise to hold off on making any judgments until further information emerges.
