Mahindra’s Design Evolution

The upcoming XEV 9E and BE 6E, both built on the newly developed INGLO platform, highlight this progress. The INGLO platform is crafted specifically for EVs, allowing for various configurations and powertrains. Mahindra has released details about the vehicles' batteries, powertrains, and charging capabilities ahead of the official launch.
Battery and Charging Innovations
The new electric models will feature 59 kWh and 79 kWh lithium-ion battery packs. These batteries support a maximum charging speed of 175 kWh, enabling a rapid charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes. On a single charge, the vehicles are expected to offer a range of around 500 km.
Performance Specifications
Mahindra has disclosed that the XEV 9E and BE 6E will be powered by a single electric motor mounted on the rear axle, delivering a power output between 228 bhp and 282 bhp.
Advanced Features
Reports suggest that these cars will boast a dual-screen and trip-screen layout, along with features like wireless charging, a large panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology.
Safety Enhancements
Safety is a priority with the INGLO platform, which incorporates ultra-high strength boron steel, ensuring these SUVs offer superior protection.
