KTM India has introduced the latest Adventure 390 and Adventure 390 X motorcycles in the domestic market, with ex-showroom prices set at Rs 3.68 lakh and Rs 2.91 lakh, respectively. The new models, developed on a redesigned platform, bring fresh styling, updated color schemes, and enhanced features. Bookings for both motorcycles are now open at KTM dealerships and through online channels, with deliveries expected to commence soon.
The KTM Adventure 390 X comes at a Rs 77,000 lower price point compared to the standard Adventure 390. Both motorcycles are equipped with the 399cc single-cylinder engine from the latest-generation 390 Duke, delivering 46hp and 39Nm of torque. A 6-speed gearbox, integrated with a bidirectional quick-shifter, is standard across both variants.
Retaining the fundamental design elements of the Adventure 390, the Adventure 390 X is fitted with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels and a more basic electronics package. While the suspension system lacks adjustability, the front and rear travel remain at 200mm and 205mm, respectively, ensuring similar ride dynamics.
A significant addition to the 2025 Adventure 390 is the inclusion of tubeless spoked wheels—21 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear—along with cruise control, a first in its category. The bike also offers a seat height of 830mm, paired with an improved 227mm ground clearance. The steel trellis frame is supported by adjustable WP suspension, while the overall weight has increased to 183kg, making it 6kg heavier than the outgoing version.
Meanwhile, the Adventure 390 X has been upgraded with the TFT display seen on the Adventure 390, as well as KTM’s latest 200, 250, and 390 Duke models.
Alongside the 390 series, KTM has rolled out the updated 250 Adventure at Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle features a redesigned front beak and vertically stacked Bi-LED projector headlight. It runs on a 250cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine sourced from the latest 250 Duke, generating 31hp and 25Nm of torque.
The 250 Adventure is built on a split-trellis frame and has a kerb weight of 177kg. It incorporates a 5-inch TFT display with connected technology, a bi-directional quick-shifter, and ride-by-wire functionality with multiple riding modes. The motorcycle is equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, and its fully adjustable suspension setup provides 200mm of front and 205mm of rear travel. The seat height is set at 825mm for rider comfort.
With these launches, KTM aims to strengthen its foothold in the adventure motorcycle segment in India. The inclusion of premium features such as tubeless spoked wheels, cruise control, and enhanced suspension systems places the 2025 KTM Adventure series among the most competitive offerings in the market.
