ETO Helping Drivers To Own EV 3-Wheelers
Hyderabad: ETO Motors, a leading player in Hyderabad’s electric mobility sector, has unveiled ‘Drive to Own’ scheme, designed to make electric 3-wheelers more accessible and affordable for drivers in the city. This initiative aligns with the vision of Telangana’s CM Revanth Reddy, to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in urban transport, reducing carbon footprints while empowering local drivers.
The ‘Drive to Own’ scheme is a revolutionary program that allows drivers to own electric 3-wheelers in just 36 months, without the burden of traditional EMIs. This driver-centric initiative offers a flexible ownership model with minimal upfront costs, comprehensive maintenance, and unlimited charging throughout the ownership period. It is part of ETO Motors' commitment to promoting sustainability and making EVs a viable option for the city’s workforce.
ETO Motors has partnered with Uber to ensure consistent demand and promote the visibility of electric 3-wheelers. The collaboration aims to streamline the transition to electric mobility while enhancing urban transport efficiency. As part of this effort, ETO Motors plans to enroll 2,000 drivers in the ‘Drive to Own’ scheme over the next year, further accelerating the city’s move toward a cleaner, greener future. In addition to the scheme, ETO Motors has teamed up with SETWIN to provide essential driver training, equipping participants with the skills needed to operate and maintain their electric vehicles. The training sessions also highlight the operational benefits of electric 3-wheelers over traditional ones, such as lower running costs and reduced environmental impact.
