The auto industry is set to unveil an impressive array of 7-seater SUVs in 2025, catering to the needs of larger families and tech enthusiasts. Major brands such as Maruti, Toyota, Tata, Mahindra, Kia, MG, Volkswagen, and Skoda are poised to introduce updated models, including a focus on electric vehicles (EVs).

Here’s a preview of the much-anticipated 7-seater SUVs coming next year:

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-Seater

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be unveiled as a 7-seater version of its popular SUV. Expected to maintain the same engine options as the current 5-seater, it will feature minor design updates and could cost an additional 1-1.5 lakhs over the existing model.

Kia Carens Facelift

Set for a 2025 launch, the Kia Carens facelift will showcase redesigned LED lighting, an updated front and rear bumper, and enhancements such as ADAS Level 2, a 360-degree camera, and a panoramic sunroof.

Toyota Urban Cruiser High Rider

Toyota’s Urban Cruiser High Rider will mirror the Maruti SUV but with the Toyota badge, sharing the same engine and features, and price point.

Toyota Fortuner Mild-Hybrid

Toyota plans to introduce a mild-hybrid variant of the Fortuner, integrating a diesel mild-hybrid powertrain from its South African lineup, without altering the current design.

MG Gloster Facelift

The MG Gloster’s new facelift will offer a boxier and more aggressive appearance. Featuring enhanced interior amenities, its design takes cues from SAIC Motors’ Maxus D90.

Skoda Kodiaq Facelift

The Skoda Kodiaq is slated for a makeover with a new 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This SUV will run on a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, delivering 190bhp and 320Nm of torque.

Volkswagen Taron

Mahindra XEV 7E

Tata Safari EV

Tata Motors will expand its EV lineup with the Tata Safari EV. Anticipated to feature a 60-80 kWh battery pack, it promises a range of up to 500 km per charge and could be priced between Rs. 30 lakh and Rs. 35 lakh.
