ASSOCHAM lines up B2B meetings in AP

Vijayawada The apex industry body, Associated Chambers of Commerce Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) will organise B2B meetings with a high-powered delegation from Sharjah Airport International Free Zone, Government of Sharjah, UAE here on June 19 and 20.

With the theme 'expanding your business globally with SAIF Zone', the B2B meetings are being organised in partnership with the stakeholders. The meetings are expected to help the city-based industrialists understand the benefits of starting business in Free Trade Zones in UAE and how Indian companies can take advantage of making their base in UAE and exports to the rest of the world.

Ravi Kumar Reddy Kataru, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Development Council and CMD, AXIS Energy Group, said “it has been observed that there is very less awareness surrounding the Free Trade Zones of UAE and this is one of the reasons why we have chosen Vijayawada to host our event so that we can increase the awareness among the industrialists and to give all the help to expand their business on the global level. From India and especially from Andhra Pradesh, food processing, textiles and agri products are the main sectors that export to the UAE.
