Sennheiser launches profile wireless audio device

Hyderabad: In a significant boost for content creators and videographers, Sennheiser has introduced the Profile Wireless, a versatile two-channel, 2.4 GHz wireless microphone system. Designed for ease and efficiency, this audio tool adapts to various recording scenarios, offering the flexibility of being used as a clip-on, handheld, or tabletop microphone.

The Profile Wireless system encapsulates all necessary elements for capturing high-quality audio. Central to its functionality is a multifunctional charging bar that not only powers the system's components but also doubles as a microphone itself. This bar houses a two-channel mini-receiver equipped with an OLED touch display, alongside two pre-paired clip-on microphones that connect automatically, ensuring a user-friendly experience. Additionally, the kit includes magnetic clips for attaching mics to delicate fabrics and adaptors for seamless integration with mobile devices or camera mounts.

Each microphone comes with 16GB of storage, capable of holding up to 30 hours of audio at 24-bit/48kHz resolution. To prevent audio loss, Sennheiser has integrated a Backup Recording Mode that activates local recording should the wireless signal falter. The Safety Channel Mode further enhances reliability by recording a duplicate audio track at a lower volume, safeguarding against audio distortion or clipping.
