Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s hit film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is returning to cinemas on January 3, 2025.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film originally released on May 31, 2013. It will be available in over 140 PVR INOX cinemas across 46 cities.
In a press statement, Johar called the film special to Dharma Productions.
He described it as the perfect way to start the new year, with unforgettable music, beautiful locations, and a story that resonates across generations. He also mentioned how fans will enjoy seeing it again on the big screen.
Mukerji, reflecting on the film’s impact, said it remains one of his greatest joys, despite its imperfections.
He called it a timeless classic with emotions that go beyond barriers.
The romantic comedy follows four friends—Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor), Naina (Deepika Padukone), Avi (Aditya Roy Kapur), and Aditi (Kalki Koechlin)—and is known for its hit songs like Badtameez Dil, Ghagra, Kabira, Dilliwaali Girlfriend, and Subhanallah.
