Hanumantha entered the show on Day 21 as a wild card contestant and steadily gained popularity through his strategic gameplay and engaging personality. Despite entering mid-season, his journey resonated with the audience, culminating in his victory over tough competition from actor Trivikram in the finale. The grand finale witnessed intense competition, with Hanumantha and Trivikram emerging as the top two finalists. Hanumantha secured the title with a record-breaking 5 crore votes, while Trivikram received 2 crore votes, finishing as the runner-up.
Who Is Hanumantha Lamani?
Hanumantha hails from Haveri, Karnataka, and comes from a middle-class farming family. He holds a degree from his hometown and has showcased his talent in singing and dancing since childhood. His journey into the limelight began in 2018 when he participated in Saarigamapa Kannada and finished as the first runner-up. This achievement catapulted him into the entertainment industry.
In 2019, Hanumantha displayed his dancing prowess in Dance Karnataka Dance Family War Season 2. He continued to build his fan base through various reality shows, including a comedy show on Zee5 OTT in 2023. His consistent performances earned him a loyal audience, which ultimately played a pivotal role in his Bigg Boss victory.
As the winner of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 11, Hanumantha received prize money of Rs 50 lakh and a luxury car, along with the coveted trophy. Trivikram, the runner-up, was awarded Rs 10 lakh. The season featured 20 contestants, with the top five finalists being Hanumantha, Trivikram, Rajath, Mokshita, and Manju. Rajath secured third place, followed by Mokshita in fourth and Manju in fifth.
