Vishal's Health Sparks Concern During 'Mada Gaja Raja' Promotions
The long-awaited Tamil film Madha Gaja Raja, directed by Sundar C, is finally set to release on January 12, 2025, coinciding with Pongal, after an 11-year delay. The movie, featuring Vishal, Santhanam, Varalakshmi, Sathish, Nithin Satya, Sonu Sood, and Anjali, faced initial setbacks that postponed its release since 2013.
A promotional event held in Chennai on Sunday witnessed the participation of Vishal, Khushboo, Vijay Antony, and others. However, fans expressed concern over Vishal's health as he appeared visibly unwell, with noticeable tremors in his speech and hand movements while holding the microphone. These observations sparked widespread speculation about his health on social media.
In response, Vishal's team clarified the situation by issuing a medical certificate stating that the actor was recovering from a severe viral fever.
'Kingston': First Look Released
Music director and actor GV Prakash Kumar unveiled the first look of his upcoming film Kingston, directed by Kamal Prakash. Divya Bharathi, Kumaravel, and others play pivotal roles in the movie, with GV Prakash Kumar also composing the music.
Actor Sivakarthikeyan released the first look poster and extended his best wishes to the team. Notably, Kingston marks GV Prakash Kumar's 25th film as an actor. The teaser is slated for release on January 9, 2025.
Nayanthara Faces Legal Challenges Over Wedding Documentary
Renowned actress Nayanthara recently released her wedding documentary on an OTT platform, which has now landed her in legal trouble. Actor Dhanush has sent a notice demanding ₹10 crore in damages for using scenes from his film without permission.
Additionally, the production company of Chandramukhi has reportedly issued a separate notice alleging unauthorized use of scenes from their movie in the documentary. Further developments on this matter are awaited.
