The Film’s Impact

Chhaava is a historical drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his battle against Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Vicky Kaushal portrays the Maratha ruler, while Rashmika Mandanna plays Yesubai, and Akshaye Khanna takes on the role of Aurangzeb.

The film has also gained political and cultural significance, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi referencing it in a speech, saying, "Aur in dino toh, Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai", highlighting its national impact.

With a Telugu re-release in the works and a strong hold at the box office, Chhaava is well on its way to becoming one of Bollywood’s biggest hits of 2025.
