The incident occurred on Wednesday night as Allu Arjun, accompanied by his family, arrived to watch the premiere with his fans. Thousands of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the superstar, creating a massive crowd outside the theater. As excitement turned into a frenzy, the situation spiraled out of control, resulting in a stampede.
A family from Dilsukhnagar—Revathi, her husband Bhaskar, and their children Sritej (9) and Sanveeka—were among the attendees. When fans surged toward the gates following Allu Arjun's entry, Revathi and Sritej were caught in the chaos. Both fell unconscious amid the crush.
Efforts to Save Lives
Police officers on the scene performed CPR and attempted to resuscitate the victims. Revathi and her son were rushed to Durga Bhai Deshmukh Hospital in Vidyanagar. Unfortunately, Revathi was declared dead upon arrival. Sritej, who was critically injured, was later shifted to KIMS Hospital in Begumpet for advanced treatment.
Revathi's body has been moved to Gandhi Mortuary for further procedures, while her son continues to fight for his life under medical supervision.
