Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 2 (Live): Salman Khan's Film Poised for Eid Holiday Boost

Salman Khan is back in cinemas this Eid 2025 and the holiday is often associated with the Salman film release. "Sikandar," a film produced by AR Murugadoss has released in cinemas on Sunday and the first day number it generated was approximately $ 26 million at national Eid box office. This is less than that of the initial total of previous Salman films including "Tiger 3," or "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
Sikandar Movie Review
The market believes that this number is too low. While it was not expected for the film to hit the 40-crore mark in the theaters, a figure over 30 crore is a good number. But, it ended only with the sum of Rs 26 crore on the first day. One can however expect to see some improvement during the Eid day, which falls on Monday. Based on the initial estimations and numbers until Tuesday afternoon total was 5.91 crore.
So, the total of the film to date is the sum of 31.91 crore as of Monday afternoon. The film is performing very well in certain Hindi belts that have mass circulation. However, the results are not as good in cities such as Gujarat as per the Box office India. So this Monday's Eid holiday figures will play an important role in determining the fate of the film and its collections during the week ahead.
On the first day, Tiger 3 had minted Rs40.75 crore more than fifty percent more than the amount Sikandar made on Day 1.
Salman Khan's most successful film has been Tiger Zinda Hai, which produced Rs339.16 crore. It also made Bajrangi Bhaijan, which earned Rs320.34 crore. It is yet to be determined how Sikandar will fare.
Sikandar failed to record any records during its opening day, and it earned lesser than that of the Vicky Kaushal film Chhaava which grossed the equivalent of Rs31 crore. Salman's previous films, including Sultan ( Rs36.54 crore) and Tiger 3 ( Rs53.3 crore) have set a higher mark.
