Sankranthiki Vasthunam X Review: Fans Hail Venkatesh's Film as the Perfect Treat for Sankranti.

Telugu actor Venkatesh Daggubati's Sankranthiki Vasthunam has officially released in theatres today, in time for the Sankranti festival. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film is receiving a positive reception from audiences so far.

An X user described the film as entertaining and a family delight, writing, "Hilarious first half with an extra jabardasth (great) long skit. Actual Ravipudi mark starts in the second half. I wonder how @AnilRavipudi bro always sticks to his Jabardast genre but delivers every time (sic)."

A separate post on X read, "First half is a blockbuster and a complete family entertainer. Venky as YD Raju effortlessly carried the film in his tailor-made role. YD Raju’s son episodes are hilarious. That kid killed it with his performance (sic)."

Prior to the release, Venkatesh had assured fans of an enjoyable and entertaining experience at the cinema. Sharing a behind-the-scenes video on Monday, the actor said, "We had so much fun shooting this film! Can’t wait for you all to have even more fun watching it on the big screen with your family and friends ."

Produced by Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, Sankranthiki Vasthunam features VTV Ganesh and Naresh in significant roles. The music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, with Dil Raju presenting the film. It is expected to make a strong opening at the box office.

This marks Venkatesh’s third collaboration with director Anil Ravipudi, after F2: Fun and Frustration* (2019) and F3: Fun and Frustration* (2022).
