Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ set for a rare Sunday release this Eid

Salman Khan's much-awaited film Sikandar is all set to hit theaters this Eid, and in an unexpected move, the makers have chosen a Sunday release instead of the traditional Friday. The film is scheduled to premiere on March 30, 2025, aiming to capitalize on the festive celebrations and extend its opening weekend run.

This unconventional release strategy follows the footsteps of Tiger 3, which also experimented with a non-Friday debut. The decision is expected to amplify the film’s box office prospects, allowing it to benefit from the holiday momentum of Eid.

Directed by the acclaimed A.R. Murugadoss, Sikandar has already generated massive excitement. Murugadoss, known for delivering Bollywood hits like Ghajini (Aamir Khan) and Holiday (Akshay Kumar), brings his signature storytelling expertise to this highly anticipated project.
