The action-packed sequel, directed by Sukumar, opened with Rs 10.65 crore from preview shows, followed by a massive Rs 164.25 crore on its first day.

The momentum carried through the weekend, with Rs 93.8 crore on the second day, Rs 119.25 crore on the third, and Rs 141.05 crore on the fourth day. Despite a drop in earnings on Monday, with Rs 64.1 crore collected, the film remains a major box office force.

In terms of language-wise collections, the Hindi version contributed Rs 331.7 crore, while the Telugu version brought in Rs 211.7 crore. The Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions earned ₹34.45 crore, Rs 11.2 crore, and Rs 4.05 crore, respectively. According to trade data from Sacnilk, the film recorded 38.33 per cent occupancy for its Telugu screenings and 40.11 per cent for its Hindi screenings, reflecting strong audience interest.

Pushpa 2: The Rule has already surpassed the lifetime earnings of the Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Animal, which collected Rs 553.87 crore during its theatrical run in India. The film is now eyeing the records of other major releases, including Stree 2, which made Rs 597.99 crore, and Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, which earned Rs 640.25 crore domestically.

Notably, Pushpa 2’s Hindi version has become the fastest Indian film to surpass Rs 300 crore, achieving this milestone in just five days. Comparatively, Jawan and Pathaan took six and seven days, respectively, to reach the same benchmark.

Other films that entered the Rs 300 crore club quickly include Animal in seven days, Gadar 2 and Stree 2 in eight days, Baahubali 2’s Hindi version in ten days, and KGF: Chapter 2’s Hindi version in eleven days. Pushpa 2 now aims to surpass these titles as its box office performance continues.

The film revolves around a sandalwood smuggler navigating challenges in his illegal trade while clashing with a determined police officer. Alongside Allu Arjun, the cast includes Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, and Anasuya Bharadwaj. Released on December 5, the film is available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, appealing to a broad audience across India.
