Pushpa 2 Collects This Much Worldwide in 29 Days

Allu Arjun's movie Pushpa 2: The Rule is doing exceptionally well at the box office. Despite the ongoing legal matters regarding the stampede case, the movie is nearing ₹1800 crore in worldwide earnings.

On Thursday, the film's team announced it had crossed ₹1799 crore globally in just 28 days.

The film’s success continues as it brings in huge numbers. On social media, the team shared a new poster of Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, saying the movie has "ruled the Indian box office" and is still performing strongly, even after a month of release.

In India, Pushpa 2 has earned ₹1189.85 crore, and its worldwide total is closing in on the ₹2000 crore mark, approaching the collection of the film *Dangal*. The movie is expected to keep performing well, though upcoming releases like Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, could affect its earnings.

Pushpa 2 Stampede Incident

On December 4, a tragic incident occurred during the Pushpa 2 premiere at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, when the crowd became uncontrollable.

This resulted in a woman’s death and her son being critically injured.

Following the incident, Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 but later released on interim bail.

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has now requested a report from the Hyderabad police regarding the incident.

They are also looking into the police's actions during the stampede, particularly the alleged lathi charge, which may have caused the chaos.
