Prime Video teases upcoming seasons of 'Panchayat' 'Mirzapur' and 'Pataal Lok'

Prime Video has unveiled a tantalizing glimpse into the future with teasers for upcoming seasons of fan-favorite series like "Pataal Lok", "Mirzapur", and "Panchayat". Alongside these highly anticipated returns, the streaming giant also announced the revival of "Bandish Bandits" and the Tamil original "Suzhal - The Vortex".

Hosted by none other than "The Family Man" star Manoj Bajpayee, the Prime Video Presents event showcased the lineup for 2024, stirring excitement among viewers.

"Pataal Lok" Season 2 promises a riveting continuation of the crime drama, with Jaideep Ahlawat's Hathiram and Ishwak Singh's Ansari teaming up to unravel a complex conspiracy across two seemingly unrelated cases. Sudip Sharma, the show's creator, joins forces with actors Abhishek Banerjee, Tamal Sen, and Rahul Kanojia as writers for this season. Directed by filmmaker Avinash Arun and produced by Karnesh Sharma of Clean Slate Filmz, the new season boasts an ensemble cast including Tillotama Shome, Jahnu Barua, Gul Panag, Nagesh Kukunoor, and Anurag Arora.

"Mirzapur" Season 3, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Media and Entertainment, promises to up the ante as Guddu (Ali Fazal) and Golu (Shweta Tripathi) face off against a formidable new adversary in their bid for power. Developed by Apurva Dhar Badgaiyan and directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer, the season features a stellar cast including Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, and Harshita Gaur.

Continuing its successful collaboration with The Viral Fever, Prime Video also announced the return of "Panchayat" for a third season, starring Jitendra Kumar. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar, this season promises a gripping tale as the characters navigate the rough waters of political intrigue.

In addition, viewers can look forward to the second season of "Bandish Bandits", helmed by creators Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari. The musical drama will see Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhary's characters embroiled in a nationwide band competition, with their tumultuous relationship taking center stage.

Lastly, "Suzhal - The Vortex" returns with its second season, promising more twists and turns in the crime thriller genre. Created and written by Pushkar & Gayatri, the series features a talented ensemble cast including Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh.

With such an exciting lineup, Prime Video is poised to captivate audiences once again with its diverse range of content.
