Marco: Unni Mukundan starrer continues stellar run, total earnings reach ₹98.75 crore

The Malayalam action thriller Marco, directed by Haeef Adeni and starring Unni Mukundan, continues to perform exceptionally at the box office. As of January 11, the film has amassed an estimated ₹58 crore (net) in domestic earnings, further solidifying its position as the highest-grossing A-rated Malayalam film of all time.

The film, produced by Shareef Muhammed under Cubes Entertainments, was released worldwide on December 20. On Day 23, Marco earned ₹0.60 crore, bringing its total domestic box office collection to ₹58.05 crore.

The film’s journey at the box office has been impressive, starting with ₹4.3 crore on its release day, and it concluded its opening weekend with ₹14.15 crore. During its first week, it earned ₹27.6 crore, followed by ₹16.3 crore in its second week and ₹13.15 crore in the third week.

A breakdown of the film's earnings across different languages reveals ₹40.7 crore from Malayalam, ₹11.03 crore from Hindi, ₹4.42 crore from Telugu screenings, and ₹1.3 crore from Tamil.

Marco also had a strong performance internationally, earning ₹31.75 crore at the overseas box office. The film's global collection now stands at ₹98.75 crore.

Industry experts have speculated that Marco may surpass the ₹100 crore milestone by the weekend. While official figures from the filmmakers claim that Marco has already crossed the ₹100 crore mark worldwide.
