Kalki' to 'Angry Young Men': OTT releases this week

It's time for your weekly update on the newest streaming services, and the selection of films and TV series over the next seven days will satisfy all of your binge-watching desires. The highly anticipated digital premiere of Kalki 2898 AD, Namrata Rao's docuseries Angry Young Men: The Salim-Javed Story and new seasons of Pachinko and That '90s Show.

KALKI 2898 AD- Netflix

After a blockbuster run at the box office, Kalki 2898 AD is gearing up for its digital premiere. This ambitious film combines Indian mythology with futuristic sci-fi, set in a post-apocalyptic world where darkness prevails and nature is nearly extinct. THE FROG- Netflix

The Frog is a South Korean suspense thriller that immerses viewers in the eerie world of Jeon Young-ha, who manages a secluded motel nestled deep in the forest. PACHINKO Season 2- Apple TV

Pachinko Season 2 continues the epic saga of the Korean immigrant family introduced in the first season, exploring new eras and locations. This season delves further into Sunja's life during the tumultuous period of World War II in Osaka, 1945, as she grapples with dangerous choices to safeguard her family amidst the wartime chaos. Concurrently, in Tokyo in 1989, her grandson Solomon faces the complexities of his business endeavours and the repercussions of his past decisions.

INCOMING- Netflix

Incoming is an R-rated teen comedy that follows four high school freshmen as they dive into the chaos and thrill of their first real high school party—a rite of passage marked by both laughter and heartache. Led by an ensemble cast including Bobby Cannavale and Kaitlin Olson, the film brings a fresh twist to the classic teen comedy genre. With its mix of outrageous humour and authentic teenage experiences, Incoming channels the spirit of films like American Pie, Project X, and Superbad.

IN THE LAND OF SAINTS AND SINNERS- Lionsgate Play

In the Land of Saints and Sinners is a gritty action thriller set against the rugged backdrop of 1970s rural Ireland. Liam Neeson stars as Finbar Murphy, a former hitman seeking redemption in the quiet village of Glencolmcille. His peaceful existence is shattered when a group of terrorists, led by the merciless Doireann McCann (Kerry Condon), descends upon the town. FOLLOW KAR LO YAAR- Amazon Prime Video

DRIVE AWAY DOLLS- Jio Cinema

Drive-Away Dolls is a comedy road-trip film that chronicles the wild escapades of Jamie (Margaret Qualley), a free-spirited woman dealing with a breakup, and her reserved best friend Marian (Geraldine Viswanathan), who is ready to break out of her comfort zone. THAT 90’s- Part 3- Netflix
