JanhviKapoor lands whopping Rs 4 crore South debut with Jr. NTR's Devara

Movie enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the release of the highly anticipated film Devara, previously known as NTR 30. The filming of Devara commenced on March 6, coinciding with the birthday of the talented actress Janhvi Kapoor, who has been roped in to play the female lead in the movie. The film is being produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Jr NTR's elder brother, under the prestigious banner of Yuvasudha Arts, with acclaimed director Koratala Siva at the helm.

Reports have surfaced regarding Janhvi Kapoor's remuneration for her debut in South Indian cinema, and it has been revealed that she received a whopping Rs 4 crore for her role in the film. This substantial amount has raised eyebrows, as Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the highest-earning actress in Telugu cinema, is said to command a fee of approximately Rs 5 crore. Insiders argue that Janhvi's remuneration is justified due to her established status as a prominent Bollywood star and her highly anticipated entry into the South Indian film industry through this project.

Jr NTR took to Twitter to unveil the first look of the film and disclose its title. Titled Devara, the movie is scheduled for release on April 5 next year. The poster shared by Jr NTR showcases him wielding a bloodied sword on a picturesque seashore. Dressed in an all-black ensemble, he exudes a serious and intense demeanor. The poster further intensifies the atmosphere with several lifeless bodies strewn around Jr NTR, hinting at the fierce battles that lie ahead in the narrative.
