Hyderabad: Hisense, a leading global consumer electronics and appliance manufacturer, today announced its comprehensive strategic plans to expand its presence in the Indian market. This expansion plan includes a significant enhancement of its retail network and the introduction of a wide range of top-tier products, including televisions and air conditioners. Hisense's aggressive expansion through offline channels focuses on partnering with major retail and distribution partners to offer the latest technology products at great value. This strategic move marks India as a key growth region for Hisense, with plans to capture significant market share through a multi-pronged approach, according to a media release.

Pankaj Rana, CEO of Hisense India, said, "India is a strategic market for us and we have ambitious channel expansion plans aimed at capturing a significant market share, starting with South India. We are establishing over 1,000 product experience zones and partnering with top distributors and retailers to offer our customers a platform to experience our premium products, advanced features and benefits in real-time."

Hisense’s commitment to excellence is reflected in its global performance. The company ranked second globally in TV shipments in 2023 and held the top position for 100-inch TV shipments, according to OMDIA’s 2023 global TV report, underscoring the growing trust and popularity of Hisense products.

A key component of Hisense’s global brand-building strategy is leveraging sports to foster a deeper connection with consumers. Over the past decade, Hisense has been actively involved in the sports community, sponsoring major events such as the UEFA Euro Championships and the FIFA World Cup 2022. Continuing this legacy, Hisense has partnered with UEFA Euro 2024 as an official partner. In India, the brand has strengthened its engagement with sports fans by onboarding Indian cricket team member Ravindra Jadeja as its first brand ambassador.
