TV producer Ekta Kapoor will make a special appearance on Bigg Boss 18 during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
She will be seen teaching the housemates, particularly Chahat Panday, about the difference between "equality" and "special treatment."
Salman Khan, the regular host, will be absent as he is busy filming his upcoming movie Sikandar.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty will step in as the guest host for the episode. Ekta will also take part in a segment to promote her upcoming film The Sabarmati Report.
In a promo shared on Instagram, Ekta addresses the housemates, discussing the concept of equality.
She says, "I want to raise this topic because it's bothering me. Some girls here say we should be respected just because we are women.
There’s a difference between respect and special treatment. Special treatment is not equality. Equality means you and I are equal."
Referring to the incident where Chahat threw water on Avinash Mishra while he was in jail, Ekta adds, "If you throw water on someone, you’ll get an answer. It’s not about treating someone better or worse because of gender. How can you justify your actions by saying, 'I’m a girl'?"
She continues, "Chahat, you’re a player here. Expecting special treatment raises questions about the equality we all fight for. You can’t use gender to create division. If someone answers you back, don’t use it as an excuse for all women."
Ekta concludes by saying, “You are a girl, but you are also a contestant, an individual, and a player. Don’t forget that.”
