Bollywood power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone announced the name of their daughter as Dua Padukone Singh, in a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday.
"Dua Padukone Singh. ‘Dua’ means prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude — Deepika & Ranveer," the post read.
The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in September, bringing immense joy to their fans and family. Known for their remarkable on-screen chemistry in films like Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and 83, they shared the arrival of their daughter with a touching joint post: "Welcome Baby Girl! 8.9.2024."
Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in a private ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, in 2018. They are currently set to star in Rohit Shetty's latest film, Singham Again, the third installment of the popular franchise, alongside Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor.
