DaakuMaharaaj box office collection: NandamuriBalakrishna's 109th film grosses Rs 22.50 crore on day 1

The long-anticipated DaakuMaharaaj, featuring the apparent legendary NandamuriBalakrishna, has taken off at the box office. The film opened in theatres across the world on January 12 and earned a hefty ₹22.50 crore on its first day in India, as per Sacnilk reports.

NandamuriBalakrishna's 109th film is a very special film and audiences turned out with glee, and the film's debut day was a triumphant success. Meanwhile, DaakuMaharaaj performed exceptionally well in all show times of the Telugu states. Morning shows reported 59.89% occupancy, which increased to 64.02% in the afternoon and peaked at 74.61% in the evening shows. The script follows the journey of an "undaunted daaku (bandit)" who rises to become a "rajputra difficult with regard to riyasat" (king without a kingdom). The film is made on a big ₹100 crore budget, and Usama has stuffed the film with action, drama, and some larger-than-life moments.

Bobby Kolli's directorial DaakuMaharaaj stars NandamuriBalakrishna in the lead role alongside Bobby Deol in the lead role as the antagonist.
