The historical thriller Chhaava is showing no sign to slowing its pace at the ticket counters. The film starring Vicky kaushal box office continues to hold its ground at the ticket counters, even on the working days. After five days of premiere, the film reached the mark of Rs 150 crore in India.

Industry tracker Sacnilk announced the fact that Laxman Utekar's period Chhaava movie was averaging around the sum of 24.5 crores on Tuesday. The film earned an average Hindi percentage of 32.52 percent with the highest footfall occurring in the evening shows. The film is enjoying a fantastic run in Maharashtra in the sense that Pune had a 69 per cent occupancy in 705 shows while Mumbai had 54 percent occupancy in 1 419 shows.

In the span of five days, the chhaava box office collection from Chhaava in India is 160 million (nett). The film's run began with an opening figure of 31 crore on the 14th of February. The film grew over the weekend and collected Rs 37 crore. Sunday saw the biggest crowd in cinemas, since the chhaava box office records soared to 48.5 crore.

Film trade expert Taran Adarsh expects significant growth in Chhaava's earnings, as he noted on X, "The biz of #Chhaava is expected to jump this evening [Tuesday], especially in #Maharashtra, thanks to the holiday tomorrow [#ChhatrapatiShivajiMaharajJayanti] (sic)."

Chhaava is an adaptation to Chhaava, an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhaava by Shivaji Sawant, narrates the tale of the Maratha Emperor along with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's son, the eldest, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
