Chhaava Earns Rs 166.06 Cr in 5 Days, Continues Winning Streak
Chhaava stays strong at the box office, earning Rs 166.06 Cr in 5 days. Vicky Kaushal’s film sees growth on Day 5 with Rs 25.56 Cr collection.

The historical action drama Chhaava, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, maintained its momentum at the box office on its fifth day. Released on February 14, the film recorded a notable increase of 6.50 per cent in collections on Tuesday following a sharp decline of 50.52 per cent on Monday, as per Sacnilk’s latest data
According to tracking portal Sacnilk, Chhaava garnered Rs 25.56 crore net across India on February 19. Film analyst Taran Adarsh, who rated the Laxman Utekar-directed film 4.5 stars, stated on X (formerly Twitter) that the movie demonstrated remarkable performance on Monday.
“Chhaava has successfully cleared the crucial Monday test, registering exceptional earnings. Only a handful of films have crossed the Rs 20 crore mark on a non-holiday working day in the post-pandemic era, and Chhaava is among them,” Adarsh noted.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, Chhaava opened with Rs 31 crore net on its release day, followed by Rs 37 crore net on Saturday and Rs 48.5 crore net on Sunday. The total five-day domestic collection reached Rs 166.06 crore net. On Tuesday, the film posted a 32.52 per cent Hindi occupancy rate, according to Sacnilk.
In the overseas market, Chhaava amassed Rs 27 crore gross within the initial four days, bringing its total worldwide earnings to Rs 195.60 crore gross by Day 4, according to Sacnilk.
The film revolves around the life of Maratha ruler Sambhaji, played by Vicky Kaushal. Rashmika Mandanna portrays Maharani Yesubai, while Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta take on key roles. Adapted from the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant, the movie features music composed by AR Rahman.
