Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 11: Vicky Kaushal's Film Nears ₹350 Crore Despite Monday Slump

Vicky Kaushal's historical drama Chhaava continues its impressive box office run in India. The film crossed ₹200 crore within its first week and reached the ₹300 crore milestone by its eighth day.
Despite a dip in collections on Monday due to the India-Pakistan match and the usual weekday slowdown, Chhaava is now on track to surpass ₹350 crore within 11 days of release.
Strong Second-Week Performance
The film earned ₹219.25 crore in its opening week, followed by:
₹23.5 crore on its second Friday
₹44 crore on its second Saturday
₹40 crore on its second Sunday
₹18.50 crore on its second Monday
With these numbers, Chhaava has reached an estimated total of ₹345.25 crore at the Indian box office.
Audience Response & Occupancy Rates
According to trade portal Sacnilk, Chhaava recorded an overall 23.64% occupancy on Monday, with:
Morning shows: 13.37%
Afternoon shows: 21.51%
Evening shows: 25.78%
Night shows: 33.88%
While the film has received widespread acclaim from both critics and audiences, some viewers felt its music did not match the film’s grandeur.
Competition at the Box Office
Meanwhile, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, featuring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh, is struggling at the box office. In its first four days, it has collected just ₹4.82 crore, with Monday’s earnings dropping to ₹0.51 crore.
