A video circulating on social media suggests that Tejasswi Prakash, Faisu, Nikki Tamboli, Rajiv Adatia, and Gaurav Khanna have reached the finale. Reports indicate that the finalists are currently filming promotional content for the concluding episodes. However, no confirmation has been provided by the show’s producers or network.
This season featured several well-known personalities, including Abhijeet Sawant, Dipika Kakar, Ayesha Jhulka, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh, Chandan Prabhakar, and the rumored finalists.
The show recently faced backlash after host Farah Khan made a comment about the Hindu festival of Holi. During an episode, Khan stated, “Chhapri logo ka favorite festival hota hai Holi.” The remark, made in a lighthearted context during a conversation between Gaurav Khanna and Chef Vikas Khanna, received mixed reactions online. Some social media users criticized the statement, while others defended Khan’s intent.
Social media personality Vikash Fhatak, also known as Hindustani Bhau, reportedly filed a complaint against Khan. The FIR, registered at Khar Police Station in Mumbai, claims the comment insulted religious sentiments. Lawyer Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh, representing Fhatak, alleged that referring to a religious festival in such a manner was inappropriate and could incite communal discord. The complaint cites various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), urging authorities to take action.
Judged by renowned chefs Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar, with Farah Khan as the host, Celebrity MasterChef airs Monday through Friday at 8 PM on Sony TV. The finale episode is expected to draw significant viewership as fans anticipate the crowning of this season’s champion.
