Amitabh Bachchan Remembers India's Heroes: A Tribute to Ratan Tata, Manmohan Singh, Shyam Benegal, and Zakir Hussain

Last year, India said goodbye to many important people who helped the country grow in different ways.

As the new year began, Amitabh Bachchan took a moment to remember these "heroes." He shared a touching image titled "Our heroes in heaven."

The image showed doodles of Ratan Tata, Shyam Benegal, Zakir Hussain, and Manmohan Singh.

The caption said, "A Parsi, a Muslim, a Sikh, and a Hindu passed away in 2024. The whole nation mourned and remembered them only as Indians!"

Amitabh’s post showed how India is united, where people from different backgrounds are remembered as one.

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh passed away on December 26, 2024. He played an important role in changing India’s economy as Finance Minister in the early 1990s. He also served as Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014.

Filmmaker Shyam Benegal, who made famous films like Ankur and Mandi, died on December 23 at 90 years old. He was honored with a state funeral and a three-gun salute.

Industrialist Ratan Tata passed away on October 9 at 86. He was the chairman of big philanthropic trusts in India.

In 2008, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan for his contributions to the country.
