Amid divorce rumors, Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja's bold statement on extramarital affairs goes viral

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja, married for 37 years, have reportedly been facing marital issues, with rumors of a divorce surfacing recently. The couple, who tied the knot on March 11, 1987, have two children, Tina and Yashvardhan Ahuja. According to the latest reports, they may be heading toward a divorce. However, Govinda's lawyer, Lalit Bindal, clarified that Sunita had filed for divorce six months ago, but the couple has since reconciled.
In the midst of these reports, an old interview of Sunita Ahuja discussing extramarital affairs has gone viral. In a conversation with Hauterrfly, Sunita had expressed a strong opinion, advising women not to belittle their husbands or boyfriends. She said, "I request all the women out there to never tell their boyfriend or husband, 'He doesn’t do anything.'"
She continued, warning that if a partner ever strays, the consequences would be severe: "When he does, he will mess up so badly – sorry for my language – it will take two years to clean up the mess. But that mess will never go away. You might exit his life, but the other woman will never leave."
While the divorce rumors have generated much buzz, Govinda responded by dismissing them as mere "business talks" and clarified that he is currently focused on his film career. He also made headlines in October 2024 when he accidentally shot himself in the leg with his own revolver.
Despite the speculation, it seems that the couple's relationship remains complicated, with Sunita's old remarks fueling further conversation.
