Abhishek Bachchan recently shared a light-hearted piece of advice for married men: "Do as your wife says!" This remark has gained traction amid ongoing speculations about his marriage to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The 'Paa' actor attended an event where he was asked about the secret to his consistently outstanding performances. The host inquired, "We have a question for you: You are known for several critically acclaimed performances. How do you manage to achieve that?"
Abhishek responded, "It's quite simple. It has nothing to do with us. We follow the directions given by our directors, complete our work quietly, and go home."
When the host quipped that this sounded akin to adhering to his wife's rules, the 'Ludo' actor humorously replied, "Yes, all married men have to do that. Do as your wife says."
Interestingly, this cheerful commentary comes at a time when rumours about challenges in Abhishek and Aishwarya's marriage are making headlines. Speculation intensified earlier this year when the couple attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding but opted to face the media separately.
Adding to the conversation, Aishwarya recently shared photos from her daughter Aaradhya’s birthday celebrations, notably without including any members of the Bachchan family, including Abhishek. Observant fans on social media have pointed out that both Aishwarya and Abhishek were seen without their wedding rings. Furthermore, the Bachchan family did not publicly acknowledge Aishwarya's recent 51st birthday.
While Abhishek has publicly dismissed divorce rumours, Aishwarya has remained reticent on the matter. Amitabh Bachchan, however, has alluded to the situation indirectly. In a recent blog post, he urged the media to refrain from spreading sensational rumours about his family.
“I rarely speak about my family, as that is a domain I prefer to keep private. Speculations are just that—speculations. They often stem from unverified claims. I respect the media's role and their efforts to serve society but ask that they be mindful of the potential harm caused by untruths or selectively framed information," he wrote.
