The Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TG POLYCET) for the academic year 2025-26 will be held on May 13. The Department of Technical Education has finalized the schedule, and the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana, will oversee the examination process.
The official notification for TG POLYCET Entrance Test 2025 is expected to be released shortly. It will include details such as online application procedures, fee structure, application correction window, and hall ticket issuance dates. The authorities have already completed the necessary preparatory measures.
Students who have passed the Class 10 examination or are appearing for the current academic year’s exams are eligible to apply. The entrance test facilitates admissions into diploma programs in engineering, non-engineering, and technology streams at various government, private, and unaided polytechnic institutions in Telangana.
Apart from regular diploma courses, the exam also serves as an admission gateway for specialized programs at PV Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University (PVNRTVU), horticulture diploma courses at Konda Laxman Telangana Horticultural University (SKLTSHU), and agricultural diploma courses at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU).
Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) is scheduled for April 30. The state government has designated 69 coordination centers to conduct the exam smoothly. The test will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The application fee for AP POLYCET 2025 is set at Rs 400 for OC and BC candidates, while SC and ST applicants will pay Rs 100. The Department of Technical Education has put in place the necessary arrangements for the examination process.
