The Telangana Intermediate Public Examinations for 2025 are set to commence on March 5. Ahead of the examinations, authorities have intensified preparations to ensure seamless execution. The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has mandated the installation of CCTV cameras across all examination centers to enhance security and prevent malpractices.
A high-level review meeting was conducted on Tuesday by Inter Board Secretary Krishna Aditya with District Education Officers (DEOs) and nodal officers from all districts. The discussion centered on strengthening infrastructure at exam centers, ensuring the availability of essential facilities, and deploying experienced staff for supervision. Officials emphasized that strong rooms must be closely monitored, and district-wise custodians and departmental officers should oversee security measures.
“CCTV surveillance will be operational in every exam center. Verification of examination personnel must be thorough, and security measures related to question papers will be scrutinized at multiple levels. A district-level coordination committee, headed by the district collector, will soon convene to oversee preparations,” stated Krishna Aditya.
Practical examinations are scheduled to conclude by February 22. The board has instructed authorities to implement stringent measures to maintain integrity. Special monitoring teams will be deployed to inspect examination centers, and biometric attendance systems may be introduced for exam personnel.
