Sai Balaji Group of Institutes host Guru Poornima in a grand scale at IIMS Pune campus

Pune, Jul 22: IIMS hosted Guru Poornima in their campus today in grand style. The b-school which is part of the well-known Sai Balaji Group of Institutes is currently running its 19th PGDM batch and was excited to acknowledge the city's noted exponents in the field of art and culture. This year the life time achievement was bestowed on Sahitya Academy winner Dr Sadanand More and Sangeet Natak Academy awardee Pandit Uday Bhawalkar respectively.

In addition to the above, the institution used this occasion to invite 38 corporate mentors and recognise their contribution to facilitate all round student learning and development. Prof Manish R Mundada Founder President of Sai Balaji Group of Institutes felicitated the Chief Guests and the Corporate Mentors in a grand ceremony witnessed by 100+ faculty and 400 students. He encouraged the students to maintain Guru Shishwa Parampara and look upto the faculty for knowledge acquisition, character building and career development. He also emphasized the key role the faculty is playing year after year in shaping the lives of many a student.

The day witnessed widespread student participation in cultural programs encompassing song, dance & recitation. The students lived up to the tradition of the Institute in maintaining close cultural connect and values which are of high moral virtues.
