Nlighten, Nrich, Ncourage mark NIA’s 44th Foundation Day

Pune, Dec 18: In a momentous celebration of its 44th Foundation Day, the National Insurance Academy (NIA) unveiled its annual event– NSIGHTS.

The innovative platform has been meticulously crafted to foster profound conversations with thought leaders, innovators, and experts from diverse fields across the globe.

Dr Sanjay Mali, Principal PGDM, NIA, introduced NSIGHTS as a platform that transcends conventional thinking, emphasizing its role as a space for bringing together dynamic minds.

Setting the tone, Dr Tarun Agarwal, Director, NIA, described NSIGHTS as an event where ideas know no bounds and introduced the journey as one of unadulterated rock and roll.

Rohit A Boda, Managing Director, JB Boda Group discussed India's growth story, the evolving definition of broking, and the critical role of technology integration. He shed light on global risks in sectors like Insuretech and Agritech, the significance of reinsurance broking, and the challenges posed by the pandemic in the Western as well as emerging world.

Boda shared visionary ideas, exploring innovative concepts like integrating NFTs with insurance products. He also elaborated on JB Boda’s dealings in carbon credit stating that JB Boda entered this market 18 months ago.

Dr Sarika Samant, Motivational Speaker, Leader, and Business Coach emphasized the pivotal role of the 3Ds – Dreams, Drive, and Direction in achieving success.

According to her, dreams act as powerful sparks that ignite the fire within individuals, encouraging them to play rightfully for maximum life wins. She acknowledged life's inevitable hindrances but advocated facing challenges as a preparation for a better tomorrow.

Samant emphasized the need to decide on dreams and their trajectory, urging individuals to understand where their aspirations will lead. Drive, characterized as the force that transforms pain into purpose, is encouraged as a powerful motivator. Direction, guided by experienced mentors, is deemed essential for success. Lastly, Discipline was highlighted as a crucial element, stressing the importance of a ritualistic approach to achieving desired goals. She promoted a holistic approach to success through a combination of purposeful dreams, driven motivation, guided direction, and disciplined effort.

The NSIGHTS event, held at the Convention Centre in NIA's lush green campus in Pune, provided a transformative platform for discussions, setting the stage for future collaborations and innovative thinking.
