The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2025. Aspirants who appeared for the exam can now check and download their scorecards from the official CMAT website at [exams.nta.ac.in](http://exams.nta.ac.in). To access their results, candidates will need to enter their application number and date of birth.
The CMAT 2025 exam took place on January 25 across 107 test centers and 178 examination venues in two shifts. A total of 74,012 candidates had registered for the test, with 63,145 appearing for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
The exam results have been calculated based on the NTA score (percentile) system. As CMAT was conducted in multiple shifts, the raw scores of candidates were normalized to ensure fairness. The NTA score was determined by comparing each candidate's performance to that of others in the same shift.
The CMAT 2025 exam followed a specific marking system:
- Correct answers earned candidates four marks (+4).
- Incorrect answers resulted in a deduction of one mark (-1).
- Unanswered questions did not impact the total score.
In the case of multiple correct answers, candidates who selected all correct options were awarded full marks. Additionally, for questions that were later deleted from the exam, all candidates received full credit for those items.
Following the completion of the exam, the NTA released the CMAT answer key and the question paper. From January 31 to February 2, candidates were allowed to raise objections regarding any discrepancies in the answers. These challenges were reviewed by subject matter experts, and adjustments were made where necessary before finalizing the answer key. The final results were then compiled based on this definitive key.
In cases where two or more candidates scored identical marks, the NTA employed a tie-breaking procedure. Candidates with the same score were ranked based on their dates of birth, with the older candidate being placed higher. In instances where candidates shared the same rank, the next available rank was skipped to maintain the integrity of the ranking order. For example, two candidates ranked second would both be given the second position, and the next candidate would receive the fourth position.
