Treda organises blood donation camp
TELANGANA Real Estate Developers Association (Treda), Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), Seva Bharathi in association with Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), Commissionerate of Police, Cyberabad jointly organised a blood donation camp at Golf Edge Residences in the city.
Hyderabad: TELANGANA Real Estate Developers Association (Treda), Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), Seva Bharathi in association with Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), Commissionerate of Police, Cyberabad jointly organised a blood donation camp at Golf Edge Residences in the city. It has received a phenomenal response with residents from the community, Treda members and Seva Bharathi volunteers coming to donate blood.
R Chalapathi Rao, President, Treda said: "It is a myth that donating blood creates weakness. Donating blood improves your dilution levels and is a step towards better health. Donating blood in a way is testing your own health".
The blood samples collected will be first tested before being administered to patients. The successful conduct of this blood donation camp in the wake of the second wave of pandemic has set the precedent that blood donation camps can be organised during lockdown on weekends as well as week days.
