TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh, accompanied by some of the party MPs called on President Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtapathi Bhavan on Tuesday and brought to her notice the arrest of party supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
He informed her that the voice of the Opposition is being stifled using the State machinery in Andhra Pradesh.
In two separate letters one signed by Lokesh and the other signed by the party MPs, they told the President that though no evidence has been found, Naidu has been taken into custody only to sling mud at him. They produced the information available with them and also the evidence to support their arguments.
