The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has awarded the Taxnet 2.0 project to Bharti-Airtel, aiming to significantly improve the taxpayer experience. This initiative, led by the Sunil Mittal-led telecom giant, will provide the Income Tax Department with enhanced network connectivity, facility management services, and video conferencing capabilities.
