TASL bags Boeing contract
Tata Advanced Systems Ltd. (TASL) has inked a pivotal agreement with Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) to produce and deliver cutting-edge composite assemblies for Boeing’s 737 MAX, 777X, and 787 Dreamliner.

Hyderabad: Tata Advanced Systems Ltd. (TASL) has inked a pivotal agreement with Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) to produce and deliver cutting-edge composite assemblies for Boeing’s 737 MAX, 777X, and 787 Dreamliner. TASL’s state-of-the-art composite manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru and Nagpur will be instrumental in fulfilling this contract.
This strategic collaboration solidifies TASL’s commitment to establishing itself as a premier supplier of composite technology in the global aerospace arena. Leveraging advanced facilities and proven capabilities, TASL consistently delivers aerospace composite parts and assemblies known for their precision, high quality, and global competitiveness.
Masood Hussainy, Senior Vice President & Head of Aerostructures and Aeroengines at Tata Advanced Systems, emphasized, “This marks a significant milestone in our enduring partnership with the Boeing Company. The contract lays the foundation for expanding and strengthening the longstanding collaboration between Boeing and Tata in co-developing India’s dynamic and rapidly expanding aerospace manufacturing ecosystem.” Salil Gupte, President of Boeing India, affirmed the evolving nature of their association with Tata Advanced Systems, highlighting TASL’s consistent production of critical components for Boeing’s platforms. The contract underscores Boeing’s commitment to advancing manufacturing capabilities in collaboration with local partners, fostering growth both in India and global markets.
TASL’s contributions to Boeing’s advanced products extend beyond the recent contract. The company manufactures critical systems and components for Boeing from its facilities in Nagpur, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. TASL’s ongoing production of advanced composite floor beams exclusively for Boeing’s 787 at its Nagpur facility is complemented by joint ventures with Boeing in Telangana. Here, TASL manufactures fuselages for Apache helicopters and vertical fin structures for the 737 family. In addition, TASL’s Hyderabad facility recently expanded with a new production line for 737 Fan Cowl assemblies, operating in tandem with the Nagpur and Bengaluru facilities.
