Stakeholder engagement vital for EoDB success: Chief Secretary

Hyderabad: On May 3, 2024, the Telangana State Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari urged officials to replicate the state's previous success in Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) rankings and maintain its top achiever status. In a meeting with senior officials, she reviewed the ongoing reforms under EoDB and instructed departments to complete all required compliances by the end of July. Additionally, she emphasized the timely issuance of GOs, circulars, and notifications, and urged officials to prepare for legislative changes necessary for EoDB implementation.

The Chief Secretary urged officials to accelerate the development of online systems and ensure the timely updating of the online dashboard and service information. She stressed the importance of gathering regular feedback from users to enhance service delivery and encouraged departments to conduct awareness meetings with stakeholders at the district level.
The meeting was attended by Special Chief Secretaries, including Jayesh Ranjan for Industries and Rani Kumudini for Labour, as well as Principal Secretaries and Commissioners from various departments, including EFST, Revenue, Home, MAUD, Fire Services, Panchayat Raj, Transport, and HMWSB, among others.
