RBI's Central Board Meeting in Rishikesh Chaired by Governor Shaktikanta Das

Governor Shaktikanta Das presided over the 604th Meeting of the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India in Rishikesh, India, on October 27.

During this meeting, as outlined in a press release from the central bank, the board conducted a comprehensive review of both global and domestic economic and financial developments. This included a focus on the challenges stemming from evolving geopolitical conflicts.

The meeting also addressed matters related to the operation of various sub-committees of the Central Board, the Ombudsman Scheme, and the activities of specific Central Office Departments.

Key attendees at the meeting included Deputy Governors Michael Debabrata Patra, M Rajeshwar Rao, T Rabi Sankar, Swaminathan J, along with other directors of the Central Board such as Revathy Iyer, Sachin Chaturvedi, Pankaj Ramanbhai Patel, and Ravindra H Dholakia.

Additionally, Ajay Seth, Secretary of the Department of Economic Affairs, participated in the meeting.
